We are a UK owned and run company offering ski holidays in France, and have been operating for over 25 years. We aim to provide good quality and good value chalet accommodation for skiers and snowboarders in Tignes in the French Alps.

We use our local knowledge and many years of experience to source accommodation and supplies at the best rates available in order to create our business model based on offering ski holidays at lower prices. Part of this has been basing ourselves in Les Brevieres, which has proven the perfect spot for our chalets to be able to keep prices low while still having access to the whole of Tignes and Val d’Isere.

All our accommodation is within 5 minutes walk of a ski lift. All our chalets can access the Les Brevieres gondola either directly or via the Brevieres Elevator lift.

The price of a week’s holiday on a half-board basis includes the accommodation with breakfast and afternoon tea every day of the week, and an evening meal with accompanying wine on 6 out of 7 nights. It also includes linen, towels, housekeeping, and a hosting service throughout your stay. Our self-catered holidays include before and after stay cleaning, towels, and linen. Yes, Tignes les Brevieres is high enough to offer skiing from December to April. The village is situated at 1,550 meters, which is higher than some more famous ski towns like Verbier. Additionally, the slopes down to Les Brevieres are north-facing, which helps retain the snow much better throughout the season. Combined with the resort’s high-altitude areas, reaching up to 3,456 meters on the Grande Motte glacier, and excellent snowmaking facilities, Tignes les Brevieres offers reliable snow conditions from early December to late April.

For cheaper weeks we advise you to look at the early or late weeks of the season as you will often find bargains to be had, or try January which tends to be the cheapest month of the year to go skiing outside these times. Check out our prices page to compare the cost of each week.

We generally operate on a Saturday to Saturday booking basis but we can sometimes take shorter bookings outside of peak-season weeks. Bookings that cross weekends are much more difficult to accommodate but we will always try to help if possible.

Yes, with discounts for children.

For any child aged 18 or under, a €75 discount is offered.

For any child aged 2 or under, a €125 discount is offered.

We do not accept dogs in our chalets.

You can pay with a credit/debit card when you book (this is usually via our secure online system but phone payments can also be taken). If required, alternative payment methods can be discussed with our reservations team. Please note we don’t accept payments from American Express cards.

If you book more than 12 weeks prior to arrival you can pay a deposit upfront to secure your booking with us, then the remaining balance is due 12 weeks prior to arrival.

If you book less than 12 weeks prior to arrival then the full amount will be due at time of booking in order to confirm your booking with us.

The deposit for your booking is 30% of the total cost of your booking.

We have a number of people who stay at Chalet Hattiers in Tignes les Brevieres for the whole season or sometimes for a month or so. See the Chalet Hattiers Long-stay accommodation page for more details.

If you do not reach the capacity of a room booked on a price per person basis, then you will be required to pay a bed supplement per empty bed. The price of this is 50% of the full per person price during off-peak weeks and 75% off the full per person price during peak weeks. Feel free to discuss this with us by email when booking and we will be able to advise you.

Yes, of course. Let us know at the time of booking if you follow a certain diet or have any dietary requirements or allergies, and we will organise this for you. Please do ensure you let us know in advance if you have food allergies or other special requirements as some foods can be very difficult to source in the mountains. This includes lactose intolerance, nut allergies, celiac or gluten-free diets. If you have uncommon or specific allergies you may need to bring some specially prepared foods/drinks with you as they can be extremely difficult to find and get delivered in France.

We don’t offer childcare services but we can suggest some companies who provide these services. Older toddlers (aged about 2 onwards) can be put in the special ‘Marmottons’ ski club and there are a number of crèches and other childcare facilities in the resort as well as private nanny services. It is best to research and book these in advance as they are often quite busy and you may find it difficult to get your child into them if left until the last minute to book. Our reservations team can give you some suggestions of companies to try.

There is free Wifi in all our chalets.

However, the internet in the mountains is very slow and unreliable compared to towns and cities. It will work, but don’t expect fast download speeds especially when large groups are trying to use it at the same time. We have done everything in our power with the existing infrastructure in the village to maximise the wifi speeds available. However, unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do about the poor wifi coverage, it is just one of the downsides of being in a small alpine village.

If you wish to use the internet for work purposes while staying with us please be prepared to use your cellular data for this, as we cannot guarantee internet speeds sufficient for this purpose.

With the full Tignes & Val d’Isere lift pass, all ski lifts in the resort are included. If you choose to buy just a Tignes area ski pass you will only be able to use the Tignes Ski lifts.

With a 6-day ski pass, you will have free access to the swimming pool in Tignes. All the shuttle busses around the resort are free whether you have a pass or not, as are the several small chairlifts on the nursery slopes for beginners, including the drag lift in Tignes Les Brévières

Yes, there is a bus about every hour and a half for about 10 euros or a taxi ride is about 70 euros.

Most of our chalets have spaces for two cars. If yours doesn’t, or if you are bringing more than two cars, you can book parking at Parking Tignes les Brevieres.
