Private Transfers

For arrivals into other airports such as Lyon or Chambery, or travel outside of the times above, we can assist with organising private transfers on your behalf.

Private transfers also offer added convenience and flexibility for larger groups that can fill a minibus. We work with several companies who operate private, direct services from all airports straight to/from your chalet door. Please bear in mind that you will not be met by a Chardons representative on these journeys.

Private minibuses usually seat up to eight people. If there are more than 16 people in your travel party, a private coach is recommended. Chardons are also able to organise this on your behalf with our partner companies.

To obtain a quote for private minibus or coach services, please contact us ahead of your holiday with the following information and we’ll be happy to help:

• Full name and contact details of the lead booker
• Number of guests in your travel party
• Age of any children and details of any special requirements (e.g. Car Seats)
• The flight number and times for each flight
• Confirmation of your departure and arrival airports for each flight

Shared Transfers

Dart Bus:

Dartbus takes affordable transfers to the next level and makes them more convenient for you. With Dartbus offers direct transfer from Geneva Airport to Tignes on Saturdays, for only £96 for a return transfer.

Your ticket includes the free transfer of 3 bags: a suitcase, a ski/board bag and a boot bag or one item of hand luggage. If you require additional luggage simply purchase a second seat.

Children: 4 years old and over are welcome onboard, however, they will be required to take a seat and our accessible and competitive pricing doesn’t allow for further reduction. Unfortunately, due to Swiss law Dartbus is not able to transport children under the age of 4.

Flexible tickets: All Dartbus tickets can be changed up to one week before by clicking on My Booking, Unlimited changes to your booking up to the Friday before travel at 16:00 CET, You can travel on the next bus if your flight is delayed and there is availability.

Ben’s Bus:

Ben’s Bus operates regular weekend transfers to Tignes from Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon Airports. Geneva Airport is probably the most convenient airport as it’s the closest and has so many flights, but Grenoble and Lyon are both good alternatives. With prices from just over £91pp, shared transfers are the cheapest and most environmentally friendly way of getting to Tignes. We generally use larger coaches, which offer a more comfortable journey as they have more space than private taxis or hire cars.
