Skiing isn’t all Val d’Isere has to offer, as there are plenty of other activities to try for the ultimate fun-filled holiday with your family and friends.

For a full run-down of what activities Val d’Isere has to offer, see the Valdisere.com website HERE.

Or see below for a few ideas…

Visit a sports centre

There are a few different sports centres in resort which offer a variety of activities including swimming, spa, gym, indoor bouldering, indoor sports courts, and much more.

Try going to Aquasportif in Val d’Isere – a big sports centre with a large swimming pool, a gym, a climbing wall, squash courts, fitness classes, and a wellness spa.

Can’t get enough of the slopes? Hop on a toboggan and keep the adrenaline pumping.

In Val d’Isere they have built a special taboggan course, or you can hire taboggans or sleds from a local equipment hire shop and head to whichever slope takes your fancy.

Ice Skating

Each year, Val d’Isere creates an artificial ice skating rink right in the centre of town – a great activity for the whole family!

Ice Climbing

La Daille in Val d’Isere is home to an impressive ice wall, which is floodlit everyday from 6pm to 10pm. They offer lessons for beginners and improvers.

Why not indulge in a bit of culture and take yourself to a concert one evening. From comedy acts to musicians, there are various evening events scheduled across the season for you to enjoy.

Take a look at valdisere.com for a full program of events – and keep an eye on this while you’re here as new concerts or events get announced all the time.

There is a cinema in Val d’Isere centre which screens films both in English and French. So grab yourself some popcorn and a drink, and treat yourself to a cosy evening watching a film with your friends or family.
