Chalet Sophia is a spacious and modern 17-person chalet laid out over four floors in Tignes les Brévières with panoramic mountain views. The premium accommodation is located in the village’s Hauts des Brévières area, just a short walk to the village centre and hiking/biking trails.

Chalet Sophia benefits from both a traditional Scandinavian-style wooden sauna and a hot tub on the balcony overlooking the picture-perfect village, lake and mountains beyond. There is ample storage for bikes and skis.

The chalet has seven comfortably furnished double/twin bedrooms and one triple bedroom. Rooms 1 to 4 are fully ensuite, and on the upper level a bathroom is shared between Rooms 5 and 6 and an additional bathroom is shared between Rooms 7 and 8. Thanks to a lockable adjoining door, Room 7 and 8 can be used as a family room if required.

With its wood and stone finish, the stylish living/dining area has an abundance of character and a sociable, open-plan layout. Guests can use the fully equipped kitchen, indulge in delicious meals at the large dining table, relax in front of the crackling fire in the lounge and admire the idyllic views from the balcony. Meanwhile, a separate cosy TV snug offers UK satellite TV, DVD facilities with a selection of movies and a choice of board games.

Chalet Chardons guests can benefit from a discounted My Tignes Open pass, giving you access to around twenty free sports and activities in the region, as well as many other discounts, during the months of July and August. The chalet is just 2 minute walk from the mountain bike trails of Tignes and the lift service which runs all summer, giving you easy access to the mountains.

“Stayed here with a large group of our friends in March 2019. The food was great, with a varied menu each night. Portions were big, especially desert! They catered for everyone’s dislikes and allergies etc. which was really impressive! The hosts were professional and friendly and always on hand to help with any queries. The ensuite room (no. 3) has a wardrobe and large chest of drawers, so plenty of storage.The lounge area could benefit from a few extra seats,but was homely and comfortable. The hot tub and sauna are perfect after a long day on the slopes.”

“Can thoroughly recommend both this chalet and its staff and Chardons as a company. Graham and Kim were fantastic hosts, ably assisted by Hannah – they were friendly, helpful and unfailingly cheerful. Kim’s food was the best we’ve experienced in many chalet holidays, with clever combinations of flavours. The wine was plentiful too! The chalet was very comfortable – the hot tub and sauna were a brilliant antidote to sore muscles. The entire Chardons team, including Manager Tracey, could not have been more helpful in accommodating our daughter at short notice – thank you again for solving a stressful situation, and making her welcome.”

“Graham and Kim were fantastic, food was absolutely top notch. Nothing is a problem for them whether it being ordering a taxi or getting a new towel or if you have any food allergies or pretences. They are more than willing to accommodate and take it in there stride wonderfully. Fantastic stay, the chalet was wonderful, the hot tub is a fab extra at the chalet as after a day of skiing it’s wonderful to tuck yourself into the hot water and relax. Oh may I add there’s a cake everyday that is superb when you get back after skiing. Would highly recommend a stay here. If you want a holiday where you don’t have to worry about anything then this is a place to come.”
