Chardons Rosko in Tignes les Brévières is a recently built modern chalet constructed in the traditional mountain style using stone and wood. The chalet is very airy and spacious, with lots of light and large windows, and benefits from commanding views over the mountains and village. The bedrooms are spacious and all have an en-suite bathroom with WC. The living and dining areas all have plenty of room but remain sociable making the chalet particularly suitable for families or larger groups who will enjoy the hot-tub, games area and the cosy lounge with its log-burning stove.
Inside the chalet is constructed over four floors with a mix of bedrooms and communal areas. There is a large and very well lit dining area with adjacent lounge and plenty of sofas for socialising. A wood-burning stove completes the chalet ambience. On the ground floor there is a large boot room, with heated boot warmers, and ample room to change into ski clothing and boots. This area also contains a games room with a pool table and table football, as well as lounge area with TV and games console. This is particularly useful for distracting children so the adults can enjoy their après ski drinks in peace. The chalet benefits from a sauna area plus outside hot-tub which has views over the lake and mountains.
On the upper floors the bedrooms are very spacious with en-suite bathrooms. Accommodation is all on the upper two floors, ideal for group bookings. No rooms adjoin social areas nor have people walking past them to get to other areas within the chalet. Internally the décor is predominantly wood and stone, with a spacious and airy feel to the building.
Outside, many of the rooms and the shared living areas open onto wrap-around balconies so the peaceful and idyllic setting can be fully appreciated. There is also an outside hot-tub with views over the mountains and village. Whilst the chalet is a modern building it has been built using plenty of local wood and stone respecting the local architectural style.
A dedicated team of hosts and chefs will ensure that your stay is enjoyable, comfortable and hassle free. A hot breakfast is served every morning and afternoon tea with freshly made cakes available for your return from the slopes each day. An evening meal is offered on six evenings of the week, along with free-flowing quality French bottled wine. On 5 nights this will be a 5-course menu, including canapes and cheese board (with port!). The other night you are treated a Savoyard speciality banquet.
The chalet is a 100m walk to the conveniently located Brévières elevator lift that will take you directly to the slopes, restaurants and bars in only a couple of minutes. During the summer of 2018 the old Tignes les Brévières bubble lift is scheduled for replacement and the slopes leading to the village will be redeveloped ensuring higher uplift capacity for skiers to the Espace Killy ski area and much better amenities for children and beginners.

Children, vegetarians, vegans and other dietary requirements are all catered for. Just let us know at the time of booking and the menu can be discussed further with your chef and hosts on arrival. If you have specific requirements (vegan, allergies, celiac) we would ask that you let us know sometime in advance so we can prepare and obtain any produce not held in our stores. Please note it is not always possible to buy some specialist items in the Alps.
Chef’s night off is normally on a Tuesday or Wednesday when the hotel staff have some well deserved time off. Our staff will be happy to recommend some of the many excellent restaurants in the village.
