Description

Chalet Belevedere Is a modern and stylish chalet in Tignes Les Brévières with excellent and comfortable en-suite accommodation. The chalet is situated in the ‘Hauts des Brévières’ and is a short walk to both the village centre and the ski lifts, with access directly to the slopes via the new Brévières Chalet Lift right at the end of the road, 100 metres away. As with all our accommodation the chalet is great value and offers skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts a top-quality chalet holiday at an unbeatable price.

Chalet Belevedere is of recent construction and is a modern chalet laid out over 5 floors with plenty of wooden beams and local stone on display. The living room has an open fire and comfortable sofas for après-ski drinks and the open-plan dining room area is light and airy with a panoramic balcony, enjoying views over the village and lake. There is an area for leaving skis and boots and for changing plus the usual skiing chalet amenities. The chalet is run and catered by our experienced chef and a chalet host team. As with all Chalet Chardons clients you will benefit from unbeatable deals on your ski and snowboard hire plus substantial ski-pass reductions.

The Chalet offers our premium chalet menu featuring a hearty breakfast each day with pastries and hot options, sumptuous home-made cake and afternoon tea and a delicious five-course evening meal served with quality French bottled wine on six nights. In addition there are extra touches such as a cheeseboard each evening, canapés and welcome drinks during the week. See the Food & Drink tab below for more details.

Access to the lifts can be either by walking 3 to 4 minutes down to the slopes or via the new elevator-style ski lift that comes right from the foot of the pistes to the end of the road, around 100m from the front door. Depending on conditions it is often possible to ski down to the main gondola lift in the mornings from the top of the elevator lift.

The chalet is arranged over five floors. All bedrooms can be configured as twin or double rooms and benefit from a high quality en-suite private bathroom (with a shower and bath, sink and WC.) There is a cosy lounge, kitchen and dining area with large picture windows which enjoy commanding views over the village for a perfect alpine ambiance. Leading out from the lounge area is a south facing sunny aspect balcony overlooking the picturesque village and lake. The sleeping areas are on the top floor and the bottom floors with the living areas between the two.

The chalet sleeps 13 people with the possibility of adding a 14th bed in the upper eaves triple bedroom making it a quad room suitable for a family with small children. If the whole chalet is booked by one group, the 13th bed is free of charge. All meals taken in the chalet and prepared by our staff in the kitchen.

Rooms 1 to 5 – twin/double rooms each with en-suite private bathroom/WC.

Room 6 – twin/double/triple large eaves room with possibility for use as a family room by adding beds with private bathroom/WC.

With this addition to our range of lodgings we are offering an alternative higher quality style of accommodation from Chalet Chardons but with the same great atmosphere, fun staff and informal environment and, of course, the same great value skiing and snowboarding holiday prices. You will benefit from all the advantages of Chalet Chardons clients with regard to cheap ski and snowboard hire, reductions in lift pass prices and access to our knowledgeable reps who will be able to organise your skiing and snowboarding holiday needs.

Afternoon tea is served in the Chalet from 4pm for tea, coffee and a freshly made cake. If you feel like settling into some après ski, Chalet Chardons is only a 3 to 4 minute walk away. The hotel resident’s bar (open to Chalet Belvedere clients as well) is open each day from 4 pm. As well as serving the usual selection of drinks, the bar plays music and shows skiing and snowboarding videos. Bar snacks are available to tide you over till mealtime.

The main office for our resort operations is also located in the Chardons where you will find the resort manager each morning and evening who can organise cheap ski hire, reduced rate ski passes and other resort services for you.

Chalet Belvedere is available for rent either exclusively for larger groups or on a room-by-room basis. Our prices listed are per person per week for catered accommodation in the chalet. Prices vary according to the season, contact the UK booking line or by email for a quote.

Excellent quality food with friendly, helpful hosts in a lovely spotless chalet - very comfortable and great place to come back to after a good days skiing. Would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend

Just returned from a week in Chalet Belvedere as a group of 7 people where Maciek and Imogen looked after us very well. We were treated to the best chalet food I have ever had, Maciek is one talented chef! We enjoyed sumptuous five course dinners every evening paired with lovely wines. The drinks and canapés before dinner were always inventive and the main courses put a creative flair on more traditional dishes. There was always a great breakfast selection, including porridge and hot options. Finally, the afternoon tea and cake was also delicious! Luckily we had fantastic powder conditions so were able to work up an appetite for all the delicious food!Imogen also went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, even making us cups of tea and coffee which was lovely! The chalet was very comfortable, the rooms well maintained and the seating area nice and cosy.Les Brevieres was small but with lots of character. The lifts are only a short distance from the chalet.

I had two great weeks at the Chardons Belvedere Chalet located in the quiet side of town in Tignes Les Brevieres. The Belvedere Chalet team provided a nice, relaxing and friendly atmosphere to chill out in after a hard day of snowboarding. Charlotte the host was always ready to help with anything from making you a brew to details of where to head out for a drink as well as ensure my room was clean and tidy.Maciek the chef was worked wonders in his kitchen, serving up a solid cooked breakfast each day to help you get you ready to hit the slopes then followed up later on with a superb 5 course evening meals night after night. His pork and duck dishes were my personal favourite, keep up the great work buddy! Thanks for the fab time, I would definitely recommend Chardons Belvedere to anyone looking for somewhere to relax after a day on the slope, keep it up guys!

Stayed in August 2015 for a biking and hiking holiday, had a fab time. Tignes les Brévières is beautiful in the summer and the best bit was all the activities are FREE. A great value family holiday packed with stuff to do. Couldn't have been better - Great hosts - we will be back soon!

Loved our stay in Chalet Belvedere, it was a great pad, the food was awesome and always filled us up. Then on top of that the staff were so friendly and cool. Then the town of Tignes was amazing, there was plenty of activities for us to do and we will definitely be returning next year!

Yet again staying at belvedere has not disappointed us. We have returned for the 3rd year running and had a fab time. The staff pat and Beth were friendly and the food was amazing.Looking forward to next year already.

We have stayed at Belvedere both Summer and Winter. It's a really traditional chalet, bedrooms are a good size and all with En Suite, we stayed in a group of 12, even full the chalet wasn't cramped - the social area has a nice cosy feel.
The staff are great, really helpful and dish up pretty amazing food, from such a small kitchen!!!
What can I say to sum up.... Excellent Location, great food (and wine :-)), great hosts, and great value.
Hoping to take another trip out next March and August.

Our chalet food is one of the highlights of your holiday. We believe that skiing and snowboarding should be about getting fresh air, exercise, thrills and spills… and then coming back and completely spoiling yourself!

Our chalets offer restaurant quality breakfast, afternoon tea and a five-course evening meal including canapés and a cheese board each evening served with complimentary French bottled white and red wine.

Breakfast has a selection of French pastries, freshly baked baguette, preserves, yoghurt, fruit, choice of cereals, tea, coffee, juices, porridge cooked to order and a different hot option daily (for example, on one morning we offer sausage, scrambled egg & tomato; on another morning we offer bacon, fried egg, hash brown and mushrooms).

Afternoon tea is served from 4pm and consists of delicious freshly baked cakes, tea (PG tips), selection of herbal and fruit teas, freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate and cordial, all available until dinner. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day and after dinner.

Dinner is served in the chalet in a communal setting – a 5-course meal with canapés and cheeseboard. Plentiful portions are served ensuring you will be well fed and nobody will leave the table feeling hungry.

A packed lunch can be ordered for a small fee each day and will be prepared for you to pick up at breakfast if you are going on a day trip or just want to save money on the mountain.

Children, vegetarians, vegans and special diets are all catered for. Just let us know at the time of booking and the menu can be discussed further with your chalet team. If you have specific requirements (vegan, allergies, celiac) we would ask that you let us know sometime in advance so we can prepare and to bring any special foods with you as many of them can be very hard to source in France.

Chef’s night off is normally on a Wednesday or Tuesday when the hotel staff have some well deserved time off. Our staff will be happy to recommend some of the many excellent restaurants in the village.
