In line with our commitment to offer great value holidays and take the strain out of booking, we have negotiated heavily discounted airport transfers on behalf of our guests.

Shared Shuttle Info
This season, we’ve teamed up with Simply Transfers once again to bring you fantastic prices on direct coach transfer services from/to Geneva and Grenoble airports. Please note that services to and from Grenoble are less frequent.

Prices
Weekend return transfers from Geneva are priced from just €92 per person, while return transfers from Grenoble are priced from just €103 per person. The transfer price is fixed, regardless of whether you are staying in one of our chalets in Tignes les Brévières or Val d’Isère.

Schedules
Tignes les Brévières is approximately a three-hour drive from Geneva and Grenoble airports. If you are staying in Val d’Isère you can expect to add a further 20 minutes on to your journey.

Please note in early and late season you should check with Simply Transfers prior to booking flights to ensure the service is running.

On Arrival
A Simply Transfer Representative will be at the Airport every Saturday to greet our guests. Following booking of your transfer, you will receive full contact details of the Simply Transfers Airport Representative as well as emergency contact details and clear instructions on what to do when you arrive at Geneva airport.

Luggage Allowance
All guests travelling on the Simply Transfers shuttle service are permitted to bring one suitcase or bag, one piece of hand luggage and one set of skis or a snowboard.

How do I Book?
To benefit from the special Chardons rate on Simply Transfers services, just contact us once you have booked your flights and we will send you a link and a promotional code. We can also provide advice on recommended flight times if required. You can then go online and organise your transfers directly, where your discounted rate will be applied to your booking.

It is a strict requirement of Simply Transfers that upon booking you provide the following information for each passenger:

– Full names
– Ages of any children under 18 (due to insurance reasons, Simply Transfer can not offer a transfer to children under 5)
– The flight number and times for each flight, plus confirmation of which UK airport you are flying from
– A mobile number including the dialling code (0044 for UK)

Terms and Conditions

We would like to draw your attention to the following conditions of carriage:

– If your flight is delayed, Simply Transfers will put you on the next shuttle that has space available, without further charge. If you were due on the last transfer and your flight was delayed, Simply Transfers will endeavour to find an alternative means of transport but cannot guarantee this, alternatively they will offer you a transfer on the next available shuttle on Sunday

– Your official ticket will be issued in November; this must be printed in advance of arrival at Geneva or can be shown to the driver on a smart phone.

– In the event you need to cancel your booking, refunds will only be considered (at the discretion of Simply Transfers) if cancelled at least 14 days prior to travel.

Below are the Saturday arrival/departure times for journeys to/from Geneva airport.

Services from Geneva to resort run approximately every two hours. Exact pick up times will be confirmed to you via text message the day prior to travel, together with full contact details and clear instructions for finding your Simply Transfers representative at the airport. Please ensure you check your phone and let us know if you have not received your message.

Please note that the shuttle service runs to Tignes les Brevières and central Val d’Isère, but not Le Fornet. Guests staying at Chalet Amelie are advised to take the Simply Transfers service to Val d’Isère and then use the free in-resort shuttle to access Le Fornet, which runs approximately every 10 minutes and stops just outside the chalet. Please note that this is a shared shuttle service and may stop en route to resort.

Arrivals

To calculate which shuttle time to book on your outgoing journey, Simply Transfers advises that you allow at least one hour after your flight arrival time at Geneva airport to get through customs. If you have ski or snowboard equipment, allowing an additional 30 minutes is recommended.

Departures

To calculate which shuttle time to book on your homebound journey, Simply Transfers advises allowing approximately 3.5 hours for your transfer from resort to Geneva airport. You should aim to arrive at the airport no later than 2 hours prior to your flight departure time.

To calculate your resort departure time on non-peak weeks, take your flight time and subtract 5.5 hours. As Simply Transfers recommends that you give yourself a minimum of 3 hours at the airport during peak weeks, take your flight time and subtract 6.5 hours.

Below are the Sunday arrival/departure times for journeys to/from Geneva airport.

For arrivals into other airports such as Lyon or Chambery, or travel outside of the times above, we can assist with organising private transfers on your behalf.

Private transfers also offer added convenience and flexibility for larger groups that can fill a minibus. We work with several companies who operate private, direct services from all airports straight to/from your chalet door. Please bear in mind that you will not be met by a Chardons representative on these journeys.

Private minibuses usually seat up to eight people. If there are more than 16 people in your travel party, a private coach is recommended. Chardons are also able to organise this on your behalf with our partner companies.

To obtain a quote for private minibus or coach services, please contact us ahead of your holiday with the following information and we’ll be happy to help:

• Full name and contact details of lead booker
• Number of guests in your travel party
• Age of any children and details of any special requirements (e.g. Car Seats)
• The flight number and times for each flight
• Confirmation of your depature and arrival aiports for each flight
