But instead of heading up to the top of the Chaudanne lift, take a right to traverse the mountain side, staying in line with the road below. <\/p>\n<p>Staying above the road the path eventually leads you into the forest above the Lac du Chevril. Once through the forest you will see Tignes 1800. From here you could either keep heading down to Tignes les Brevieres via the summer road or the footpath that runs on the other side of the piste to the road, or you could take a bus back up to Tignes le Lac.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Worth knowing\u2026<\/h5>\n<p>This area is home to herds of sheep, so dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
