Despite the possibility for some serious sunbathing by the lake in Tignes, it is also possible to snowboard all summer on the Grande Motte.

From June to September the 12 ski lifts open on the Tignes Glacier offering over 20 kilometres of runs & a vertical drop of over 750 m. Accessible by a short 7 minute ride up  the finicular train in Val Claret you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views from an altitude ranging from 3,000 to 3,456 metres. 

You can also join the pros keeping their skills up to date in the snowpark with 2 half pipes, rails, bumps and jumps of all sizes.

The ski area is open every day from 7.15am to 1pm. A half day pass is available from 10.30am.
