Chalet Chardons is a simply but comfortably furnished hotel in Tignes for up to 56 people appealing primarily to budget minded skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts looking for a cheap but good value ski or snowboard holiday in Tignes. In the hotel is a resident's bar, dining room and a ski and boot storage room. The bedrooms are mostly bunk bed style, generally with en-suite bathrooms and usually a toilet. All rooms have duvets, wardrobe, and mirror and have views over the lake and village. Hot water is plentiful, and we always keep the hotel nice and warm.

The hotel resident's bar is open each day from 4.45 p.m., or all day in bad weather when there's no skiing or snowboarding available. As well as serving the usual selection of drinks, the bar plays music and shows skiing and snowboarding videos and has the full range of Sky Sports for those 'can't miss' sporting events. Look out for 'vin chaud' and other special promotions.

During busy periods, we often rent out apartments and lodgings in the village from 4 to 8 beds to give us extra capacity. Please call us if you wish us to arrange this for you. Apartment and lodgings guests can either eat at the Chardons hotel restaurant with the other guests, with a breakfast pack supplied by us, or self-cater.

Other Hotels

We work closely with a number of other hotels in the village who accommodate skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. If you like a rustic, traditional French family run hotel, we can book you into the Relais du Lac, run by the formidable sisters - Bambi and Monique - who may have been here almost as long as the village (but don't say that to them!). Our guests who stay here usually come to eat in the Chardons to enjoy the livelier atmosphere with fellow ski and snowboarders, and more familiar cuisine.
