Chalet Val Monte is a spacious and modern ski and snowboard chalet in Tignes Les Brevieres. The chalet is situated in the 'Hauts des Brevieres' and benefits from views over the village and lake. As with all our accommodation the chalet is great value and offers skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts a top-quality chalet holiday at unbeatable prices

Val Monte is a modern, spacious chalet with high roofs and plenty of wooden beams and local stone. The living room has an open fire and comfortable sofas for aprés-ski drinks and the split-level dining room overlooks the lake and village. The chalet has large and roomy balconies, a garage/ski room and is run and catered by our experienced staff. As with all Chalet Chardons clients you will benefit from unbeatable deals on your ski and snowboard hire plus substantial ski-pass reductions.

Access to the lifts can be either by walking 5 minutes down to the slopes or via the new elevator-style ski lift that is being built during the summer of 2011 that comes right from the foot of the pistes up to 100m from the front door.

The chalet is very roomy and arranged over four floors. All bedrooms are twin/double rooms with a mixture of bathroom facilities. There is a very spacious split-level lounge/kitchen/dining area with huge picture windows for a perfect alpine ambiance. Leading out from the lounge area is a large south-facing balcony for sunbathing or just looking at the view. The sleeping areas are on the top floor and the bottom floors with the living areas between the two

The chalet sleeps up to 14 people with a facility to take a further 8 people in a close-by apartment with meals taken in the main chalet making a total of 22 people if both sets of accommodation are used. If you have more than 14 in your group this option can be discussed on booking. The rooms are arranged as follows:-

Room 1 - twin/double room with bathroom

Room 2 - twin/double room accessed via room 2 making these two rooms perfect for a family

Room 3 - twin/double room with bathroom

Room 4 - twin/double room on split level between rooms 1 and 3

Room 5 - twin/double room with bathroom

Room 6 - twin/double room between rooms 5 and 7

Room 7 - twin/double room with bathroom

Extra capacity can be added by booking the apartments in the same building.

During your stay you will be looked after by your personal chalet hosts who will cook meals, clean the accommodation and ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The menu is a full three-course evening meal with superior wine served on 6 nights. See the food page for a typical menu and please note that in Chalet Val Monte your ski and snowboard holiday price includes a hearty continental breakfast and additional cooked hot options everyday. With this addition to our range of lodgings we are offering an alternative and more luxurious style of holiday from Chalet Chardons but the same great atmosphere, fun staff and informal environment and of course the same great value skiing and snowboarding holiday prices. Afternoon tea is served in the Chalet from 4.45pm for tea, coffee and freshly made cake. If you feel like settling into some apres ski, Chalet Chardons is only 4 minute's walk away. The hotel resident's bar (open to Chalet Val Monte clients as well) is open each day from 4 pm, or all day in bad weather when there's no skiing or snowboarding available. As well as serving the usual selection of drinks, the bar plays music and shows skiing and snowboarding videos and has Sky Sports if there is an important match or event on. Bar snacks are available to tide you over till mealtime.

The main office for our resort operations is also located in the Chardons where you will find the resort manager each morning and evening who can organise cheap ski hire, reduced rate ski passes and other resort services for you.

Hauts Val Monte is available for rent either exclusively for larger groups on a fixed weekly rate or we will fill it ad hoc on other weeks. We will accept non Saturday - Saturday bookings subject to it fitting our planning schedule. Prices vary according to the season, contact Nicky on the booking line or by email for a quote.
