Chalet Alpey has been a long time favourite in Tignes Les Brevieres with skiers and snowboarders seeking a comfortably furnished traditional alpine ski and snowboard chalet at cheap prices with a great location. Situated just 50 metres from the pistes and constructed in a wooden alpine chalet style, it offers a cosy alternative to Chalet Chardons but still with unbeatable prices.

The chalet sleeps up to 20/22 skiers and snowboarders on three floors, mostly in twin or triple rooms with a large dining area, TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi system and traditional chalet furnishings.

During your stay you will be looked after by your personal chalet host who will cook meals, clean the chalet and ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The menu is similar to that at Chalet Chardons with a little more attention to detail and taken in a more traditional alpine chalet environment. See the food page for a typical menu and please note that your ski and snowboard holiday price includes continental breakfast everyday and three course evening meal with wine on 6 days. With this addition to our range of lodgings we hope to appeal to those previous visitors to Chalet Chardons who now have a little more money, a partner, children or who just wish to have more luxury but with the same great atmosphere, the same fun staff and informal environment and of course the same great value ski and snowboard holiday prices. The chalet is available for rent either exclusively for larger groups on a fixed weekly rate or we will fill it ad hoc on other weeks. If you have any special needs or wish, for example, to bring your own caterer please let us know and we will give a quote. We will accept non Saturday - Saturday bookings subject to it fitting our planning schedule

Chalet Alpey will appeal primarily to budget minded skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts looking for a cheap but good value ski or snowboard chalet holiday in Tignes. The lower floor is mainly dedicated to bedroom space and bathrooms plus a communal area where ski and snowboard equipment can be left and a separate entrance/exit which is only 1 minute from the pistes. On the second floor there is the main entrance, an area for relaxing, watching television and socialising, the dining area, the all important kitchen and a large south facing balcony which comes into its own during those warm March and April afternoons. On the upper floor are three bedrooms built in a cosy alpine style.

Afternoon tea is served in the Chalet from 4.45pm for tea, coffee and either biscuits or cake. If you feel like settling into some apres ski, Chalet Chardons is only one minute's walk away. The hotel resident's bar (open to Chalet Alpey clients as well) is open each day from 4.45 p.m., or all day in bad weather when there's no skiing or snowboarding available.. As well as serving the usual selection of drinks, the bar plays music and shows skiing and snowboarding videos and has Sky Sports if there is an important match or event on. Look out for 'vin chaud' and other special promotions.
